Thursday 18 July and Wednesday 14 August
In the company of the gardener, discover the design of a garden of the First Renaissance. During a one-hour visit, wander through the parterres and alleys to admire the ancient plants whose virtues and aesthetics attracted the attention of Renaissance society.
The Château garden, classified ‘Jardin Remarquable’ by the French Ministry of Culture in 2019, is a pure example of a 16th century garden composition. Its restoration required seven years of research and labour.
Note: the tour will be conducted in French. If you would like to organise a specialised tour of the garden in English for a group of 10 or more please email the château.
Meet at the château reception desk at 10.30 pm.
Price: 14 €, possibility of coupling with the guided tour of the château in the afternoon: 20 €.
