Wednesday 26 August
In the company of the gardener, discover the design of a garden of the First Renaissance.
Outside regular opening hours, the Château de Bournazel opens its doors to a few garden lovers. During a one-hour visit, wander through the parterres and alleys to admire the ancient plants whose virtues and aesthetics attracted the attention of the Renaissance men.
The Château garden, recently classified as ‘Remarkable’ by the French Ministry of Culture, is a pure example of a 16th century garden composition. Its restoration required 7 years of research and work.
Note: the tour will be conducted in French. If you would like to organise a tour of the gardens in English for a group of 12 or more please contact Château de Bournazel by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
