Sunday 19 May, Saturday 6 & 20 July and Sunday 18 August
Accompanied by a guide, the visitor can discover the highlights of the rich collection of furniture, paintings and sculptures from the sixteenth in the 18th century century.
The Renaissance library was built thanks to several donors who put a portion their library at the disposal of the Château de Bournazel Endowment Fund. This library, which will eventually reach 10,000 volumes and will allow students to research in an inspiring place.
The visit will conclude with the “Chapel of the Children of Madame de Montespan”. This is a 17th-century chapel century that has been located on the second floor of the East Wing, on the site where the 1710 inventory mentioned the existence of the original chapel. The altarpiece, the woodwork and the decor is classified Historical Monument.
A special moment that will immerse the visitor in the exceptional artistic atmosphere of Château de Bournazel.
